Haylee's father stood in the doorway of the house, watching Warzuk embrace Haylee. When the young man came before him, he motioned with his head inside, then turned and lead the way into the living area, and sat on an understuffed couch. He waited until Warzuk sat down, and then took a deep breath.
"I know you'n Haylee have been mighty fond of eachother for some time now." He paused momentarily to see if he would deny it, then continued. "And I also know you are being sent off to battle those nasty folk." Taking another pause, he swallowed hard. "Haylee is my little girl. I don't want her heart broken, so you listen up good." Now, he looked Warzuk directly in the eyes and said very slowly, "I want you to marry my little princess." He turned away suddenly very shy. "I-I know you are the man she wants, and you're by far the best suitor for a poor farmgirl like her, even though you're off to war. So I'm just letting you know now, that when you return, she will be waiting for you."
He then stood and with a force that came from seemingly nowhere, he spluttered, "So you keep away from those night ladies!" And with that, he turned and walked out of the room, not wanting to be with anybody right now.
((Blah...sorry it sucks))

Warzuk stunned by the sudden request was taken back a little. Many thoughts suddenly started surging through his mind. The thoughts all lead to what he wanted which was a happy life with Haylee. He imagined them living on the farm by the sea. Smelling the ocean air each morning while they held each other. And imagining a little one be born from them. It all seemed so perfect, and it sounded exactly like what Warzuk wanted. Warzuk followed Haylee's father and leaned against a wall with his arms crossed. "I would be more than happy to accept the request you have bestowed upon me. I promise you that once I get back from this battle I shall ask for your daughter's hand in marriage. But I do not want her to worry too much about all kinds of details. I already know that her mind will be overwhelmed with worry once I set out. But I will make it back, for your daughter." Warzuk left it at that and then headed back outside to see Haylee. Time was drawing nearer to when he would depart for the battlefield against the bandits. He put on his armor before going to see her right away. Then he muttered to himself, "I shall be victorious in this battle, and when I come back Haylee and I can be together." He then walked to Haylee and put his arms around her. "We have but a few more moments together." he said as he watched as the sun started to bring true light to the soaring blue sky. ((It was fine ))

Haylee sighed and bit back tears again. "I know...I wish they could last a lifetime." She nuzzled into his chest covered with his armor, so bright with the sunlight hitting it's mirror-like appearence. While still holding her love, and now lover, she asked softly, "What did daddy want to see you for?" She wanted to know, and she knew that she would be able to get the answer out of Warzuk more readily than she would her father.
Not that he was mean about it, but he just always held her at bay, tossing her bits and peices of information like baiting a fish onto the hook. And although it was fun, she had to admit that it was somewhat frusterating, what with her curiousity and all.

Warzuk smiled softly and said,"I cannot tell you now, but when I get back from defeating the bandits, I promise to tell you then. For now do not worry about it." He rubbed her shoulder as his heart started to sink as he realized it was now time for him to leave. He hugged Haylee tightly and then kissed her gently. "I promise, I will definitely make it back alive. And I will definitely write to you. So I will not say goodbye here as I plan on returning to you." Warzuk then ran off to where Verum was standing and waiting.
"It shall takes us about a day's time to reach the border where the increase of hostile bandits has occurred. It shall be you and me who go there along with the rest of the squad. And if you are wondering about Michael, I will not make him go with us. It shall be his decision. But as of right now you and me need to leave. I assume you have made all of your goodbyes." Verum finished and then climbed on his and urged it onwards towards the dusty road ahead. Warzuk got on his horse and followed turning back one more time to smile and wave at Haylee. Then he faced forward again, ready for the journey that was about to begin.

((So I'm thinking that Haylee will turn into a side character, except for when she writes to Warzuk every once in a while. If you'd like, I could take on the role of Mr. Evil xD I can't remember if we named him or not...XD))
Haylee kissed him, and then watched him turn and run swiftly to where Verum stood. Tears ran slowly down her face, dropping to the ground. It was a beautiful day, but she couldn't see the beauty in it. She didn't want to say goodbye, and thankful he didn't. But, in some respects...she wanted to say it, because she knew the odds of him making it back to her at all, let alone in one peice.
She watched them ride off into the distance, and one when she could no longer see them, did she drop to her knees, letting sorrow break over her like the waves on the rocks beyond the cliff. Her shoulders shuddered with sobs, and she didn't even hear her father come walking behind her, but felt his warm strong hand on her shoulder. As reassuring as it was, her heart still ached for the love that may never return.

((The name of the evil guy is Shangeru if I remember correctly. And yeah you could take control of him that would be no problem.))
Verum and Warzuk continued to ride off into the distance constantly looking forward, and never looking back. They had both been traveling for hours when Verum halted and had Warzuk halt as well. "We shall break here and let the horses rest. We will continue at the new dawn. Until then relax and get some rest. Because tomorrow the battle truly begins." Verum left to go set up his tent to camp out.
Warzuk got off of his horse and then looked up at the moon and tried to maintain his focus on the battle tomorrow as thoughts of Haylee, would surely distract him at this time. He set up his tent as well and ate some of the rations that they brought along with them. In time he started to get sleepy and then went inside his tent to get some sleep.
((Also if you want you are free to add in any characters along the way if you so choose to. It could be another one of the knights, Michael, basically whoever you want.))

((Lol alrighty. Mind if I make Shangeru slightly...insane? xD))
Shangeru stood stone still as he peered out of the window of his bed chamber. It was rather luxerious, if not quite his taste. Everything was either crimson red, the color of blood, (which he did like) or gold, (which he wasn't so fond of). The bed took up most of the room, and at the foot of the bed there was a gold-stained chest, which held a few of Shangeru's clothes.
"Nisrah!" He bellowed, slightly turning his head.
A regal looking woman with ebony hair piled high on top of her head, wearing a charcoal gray dress with flowing sleeves floated into the room. "Yes, Your evil one?" Her voice was melodic, in a monotone way, but pretty nonetheless. Her bright green cat-like eyes settled on her master, her mouth set in a firm thin line.
"Are the forces ready?"
"Yes, your evilness."
"Good. Are my pancakes done?"
Nisrah was by far used to these random questions that had nothing to do with their conversation. It was a greatly kept secret that the greatest of all evil men was a bit, insane. After being locked in the abyss for countless years, one was bound to lose some part of yourself. In Shangeru, it manifested itself in random outbursts of questions or opinions, but his mind was no less sharp or evil.
"Yes, sir. They are." Skipping right to the meat of the day, she added, "There have been reports of the Knights destroying our forces in the south, and right now our scouts have just reported that two new Knights are coming in from the east." She paused, waiting to see if he would turn, and when he didn't, she continued. "One of them may be the fabled one."
At that Shangeru snapped around, his eyes livid. "What? The only one that could possibly destroy me, and you come to tell me that he is on our doorstep?" He slapped her across the face then retreated to his study. After recomposing herself, she followed him. "It is not like we have not tried, sire."
"Bullocks! I want him DEAD!" His fist slammed down on the desk of the study, making his writing objects jump, then fall over.

((I love the portrayal of Shangeru. It is most delightful. Also I like the inclusion of the girl. Excellent ideas. )) Verum and Warzuk awoke early and got on their horses right away so as to make it to the where the bandit attacks were occurring right away. "We must hurry, the attacks will most likely have gotten more fierce and violent." Verum exclaimed in a rushed voice. Warzuk nodded in agreement as they kept on riding towards the border. After hours of riding they arrived at the location of where the tents of their knight comrades were set up. Both Warzuk and Verum hopped off of their horses. And ran up to a fellow knight who was clad in the armor of one of the higher ranking knights within the army. "So the knight known as Crimson Demon and Warzuk have arrived. You are one of the highest ranking knights yet you still rather not wear the armor of our kingdom. Why is this so Verum?" said the knight in a calm tone. "Heh, does it really matter to you that much? Perhaps it is simply because I find the armor of our kingdom too bulky. But this is not the time for you to worry about that, is it General Fizaro Gizaro, the serpent knight who wields the mighty lance Zerkozu? As you can tell your status nor appearance here surprises me. Though right now I would rather speak of the matter at hand. How have the bandit attacks been?" General Fizaro gave let loose a deep breath and then explained the situation. "The bandit attacks have been the basic ones we are use to so far. No casualties on our end thus far only some injured. Something seems odd though. They seem to be observing more than their usual style of attacking us head on. It seems as though they are planning something big. And I almost wonder if it ties into the rumor that Shangeru still exists." "Well General do you see it as a simple rumor? If so then why are you sweating so much under your armor. I can sense your sudden fear. Odd for someone of your caliber. Does the idea of Shangeru scare you that much? Remember he is simply a man, you must trust in your abilities more. Anyway let us head into the war room and plan some actions of our own. Verum and General Fizaro went inside a tent that was guarded by many knights. Warzuk started to ponder on some of the events that just took place. Such as why did the two knights know of each other so well. Also why is the man that he looks up to known as the Crimson Demon. And would Shangeru really show up. Warzuk tried to shake these thoughts out of his head and headed to war room tent in order to join in on the planning for the battle soon to come.

((If you don't mind, I'm going to ignore Haylee everyonce in a while...Let's just assume that nothing bad happens to her...yet. xD I'm so evil to my characters...xD And thank you for the compliments. I adore playing insane people, good or evil XD))
Shangeru bobbed his head like an upset parrot as he paced back and forth infront of the window. He was well aware of Nisrah standing behind him, her right cheek still flushed from his slap, holding his plate of breakfast. In exasperation, Shangeru threw up his hands and let out a growly sound that sounded like, 'rawr'.
"I wish I could just blast them to pieces." He smoldered as he plopped himself down in a chair, leaning back as Nisrah flamboyently set the plate down and whirled a napkin onto his lap.
"You know you can't, sire." Came her even retort.
"Oh blast it, I know I can't! I have neither the power or the energy yet. I can hardly leave this room, let alone spy on them!" He dug into his pancakes with increasing vehemance.
Nisrah's thin lips twitched into a small smile as she watched him eat. "Once the ceremony is completed, and the Red Moon is full, then you will have your power back, sire. Then you can do all of the pillaging and blasting you want."
At that statement, Shangeru was sometime soothed. He was still uneasy about how long they would have to wait...nearly three years...until the Red Moon was full. It was among the several moons their world had, but the Red moon took a span of years, nearly eleven, to complete a cycle. Whereas the Creature Moon and the Plantonin Moon took the normal time to complete their repsective cycles.
A sudden curious expression crossed Shangeru's face, and he stopped the fork mid bite, then lowered it. "I wonder...Has the Crimson Demon been spotted yet?" He took a slow bite of his food, then exuberently stated, "I want a puppy!"

"It has been decided, we shall strike on three different fronts. I shall lead the cavalry. We should be able to crush the bandits forces and cause them a massive blow. It should put a stop to these more ferocious attacks. The other two fronts will be hidden in the forest. Verum your group shall be the stealthy infantry units who strike last. Warzuk you shall lead our archer unit and strike from the forest. Warzuk's unit shall be the second to strike as the arrows should be able to pick off some of the scattered confused bandits. If this all goes to plan the bandits will be little in number. Are there any objections to the plan?" concluded General Fizaro.
"Ha, not half bad of a plan General...if we were positively only dealing with bandits. Your plan does not bring into account a possibilities of Shangeru being on the field of battle. But thankfully I have thought ahead and already had some of our best knights come to our camp. I will lead them into battle. We shall be disguised as bandits as to get around them all quietly. If Shangeru is indeed within their ranks we will find him. Once we have dealt with him, we will give a signal to attack with the launching of a flaming arrow. Once that happens Warzuk will lead an attack from the forest with his band of archers. Then you shall attack lastly general. After all with your original plan there is a good possibility that you and your men would have gotten shot by Warzuk's men simply because the groups would have been too close to each other. Now are there any questions?" chided Verum.
The general now embarrassed spoke with a higher pitched voice, "That...is exactly what I meant to say...just wanted to make sure you were paying attention....Anyway umm...prepare for battle!"
Warzuk watched as General Fizaro left the war room with a shameful gait. "Ha, the General is quite the combatant, but has always been a little numb went it comes to planning strategy. Warzuk get yourself ready to go, because once we leave this tent it is time to put our plan into motion." With that Verum left the tent.
Warzuk left the tent and gathered the men that would join him in the forest and equipped himself for the battle ahead. Warzuk and his band of archers left for the forest where they would await the flaming arrow to signal the time of attack. Verum donned his bandit disguise along with the rest of his men. "Remember men, we do not know what to truly expect. So be ready at all times." Verum warned them and then they all ran quickly into the forest. General Fizaro and his men were ready. Ready for the battle that would begin soon enough.

Shangeru sat in the armory, waiting for his armor and swords to be put on him. They were of the highest quality metal, designed to withstand sword stroke, arrow puncture, and any mythical being...that being his special request, despite those creatures being mythical.
He held his chin in his hand in a bored fashion, sighing every now and again. He didn't want to go down to the battlefeild, but he rather did like the idea of cutting down his old enemy himself. "Is it ready yet?" He asked the blacksmith, like a bored child.
"Yes." Came the snappy reply, anger obvious in that short word. Shangeru had been bothering the blacksmith for two days now, sitting and watching with impatience.
"Finally!" Shangeru stood up and spread his arms out like a cross, waiting for the armor to be strapped to him. He had never put on his own armor...or even clothes for that matter. The blacksmith waved over a small boy of about 14 and tossed him the first piece of the armor. The lad caught it and set to work attaching it to Shangeru, keeping his eyes on his work in respect.
((Feel free to jump to seeing him come onto the Feild. xD I couldn't think of any more filler lol))

Verum and his group charged up the forest taking out minor little scouts along the way. "Alright men, we are making great progress. Let us keep marching forward." Verum and his group continued forward until beyond the forest in a clearing they saw a magnificent castle. "Heh, so I guess the rumors were more than rumors. Shangeru must indeed be back." Verum and his men ran quickly ahead only to soon see a large army and Shangeru standing tall amongst them all. "I guess this is where our battle truly begins. Men strike swiftly and charge!" Verum and his men charged the army led by Shangeru.
General Fizaro grew restless as the wait seemed to never end. "Grrrrr, when will we march this flaming arrow of Verum's is taking much too long to appear. Men change of plan, we shall charge the enemy now. CHARGE!!!"
Warzuk watched as General Fizaro began to charge and worry struck him as he never did see a flaming arrow. Warzuk observed around him to see if there was anything suspicious and noticed the ground ahead of General Fizaro to be a bit unsettled. "GENERAL STOP, YOU ARE WALKING INTO A TRAP!!!!!", shouted Warzuk in hopes the general would hear him. Though it was to no avail as the General charged on ahead unaware of the misfortune that was about to grasp him.
