Name: Evelyn Emerald-Eye.
Nickname or Title: "That bitch," by people who don't like her (a lot), sometimes (but rarely) Ev, by her brother
Gender: Female
Age: 112 (appears to be around 18)
Race: half wood-elf, half human
Class: wanderer/ranger/defensive teacher
Side: Chaotic: she generally has good at heart (except when it comes to humans) but her entire manner would suggest otherwise
Weakness: Evelyn hates all humans. Period. No questions asked. She would rather trust a dwarf (and has done) than a human. Of course there are ways a human can win her trust but none have completely done so as of yet.
Her offensive skills are lacking; she carries no sword or any other close combat weapon, has no idea how to use them, and her magic is that of defense so when it comes to attacking she must rely solely on her brother.
Powers: Forestry manipulation. Basically she protects the forests and the forests protect her. She can ask them to close gaps behind her, lift their roots to trip pursuers, move aside so she has a clean shot, you get the picture.
Default Abilities: Attunement to the forest: she was born being able to know what the forest wants, and basically can hear it speaking. She was also born being quick on her feet and with a sharp eye. And some say a sharp tongue as well.
Illusions: she was born being able to manipulate illusions but it was, at first, controlled only by her emotions so if she was afraid of being discovered (if she was pretending to be Kamui and he her) they would automatically weave themselves so that she looked more like her brother.
Abilities: Bowmanship: she is deadly with a bow. Literally. If Evelyn has an arrow pointed at you you know not to screw arround and that she means business.
Stealth: One of the few things she got down to a competant level from the theives guild. She isn't excelent at it but if no one is paying attention she can slip past.
Illusions: she has learnt to weave these at will now
Weapons: 40lb long bow that she made herself not long after her brother was killed {{for those who don't know, most bows you can buy at a shop are around 25lbs, that's what most people start on. I own a 30lb or 35lb (cant remember) longbow and quite a number of people struggle to draw it to its full draw length (I can but can't hold it for long, but then my back muscles are strong from dancing). 40lb is very hard to draw (I've tried) such that really only well built men or people trained to it can draw it. A true longbow is, realistically, usually about 80-85lb (though some claim they are 100lb but I doubt this) but if you look at the skeletons of professional archers their right shoulder is deformed from having grown pulling a bow (I can't draw a 50lb beyond a few inches ^^").}}
- She has a dagger but it is mostly used for skinning and eating; she has no skills whatsoever for fighting with it, but she will try if she is out of options.

(All fields here are optional.)
Animal Companion: not one in particular, but she has a few animal friends.
Relationship Status: nope no one. She now travels with her twin brother (explained below).
Family: Her mother was a wood-elf who, not expecting twins, died in childbirth. Her father was human but (obviously) is dead. She has a human half brother still alive, though old. Her only other sibling is her twin brother Kamui and they are now inseperable.

Physical Descriptions: – Despite her name (her mother's family name) Evelyn's eyes are a piercing violet colour. Her hair is aubern and is probably a little taller than most women, but not really noticably so. Courtesy of Shini, she looks like this (but minus the swords)
Personality: – A sharp-tonged bitch ^^. Courtessy to humans is non-existant and to anyone else it is limited. She is not all bad however. If she is proved wrong, she will recognise it (though she's not the type to say "I was wrong, you were right, sorry"). Once you have gained her trust (not an easy feat) she will be loyal to you until death but if you betray that trust she will hold a grudge until she believes revenge has been carried out. In battle she is serious (but she is always serious) in that she never plays with her enemy; you are either dead because she wants you to be or alive if she is allowing you to live (or she is having trouble killing you). She doesn't play mind games.
Background: – ((I will use equivalants here, if I say five, I mean looks five, not the elven years of five))
Evelyn and her older twin brither, Kamui, were the by-products of a war between the elves and humans. Their mother died in child-birth and their elven family cared for them until they were five and then sent the two to live with their father. He was a cruel man who treated the children little better than slaves. They always helped each other out through these dark times, sometimes switching places if the need came, so alike were they in appearances. Whenever they could, they would sneak into town and hang out with the local thieves guild there. Kamui flourished there and turned into quite an accomplished rogue while Evelyn flouned along, but neither really cared as, while Kamui was good at some things, Evelyn was good at others and they complimented each other perfectly.
The twin's life, bitter as it was, was about to take a horrible turn when they were fourteen. Evelyn, who had been feeling unwell that day, had stumbled into one of their father's precious vases and smashed it. Terrified of their enraged father, the twins ran for it. The two had separated so as to be harder to find, when suddenly Evelyn felt a dull but acute pain accross her back. Knowing what had happened, Evelyn rushed back to her brother. Kamui was fading in and out of conciousness by the time Evelyn found him and had encouraged the forest to encompass them in an unpeneratble wall. It was then that he had given the necklace to her but before he was able to tell her what it meant and pass on its secrets his life left him.
Five years (human looking, rather like 40 or something) later Evelyn, with the help of Norli, made a pact with death that in exchange for Norli's spirit, Kamui's could return. This was done but it drained Evelyn of her powers for some time. She didn't care though, she had her brother back. However they were now the only ones left to take on teaching others with Norli's passing so that is what they now do.
Sample RP: – Evelyn was watched the band from her tree-top perch. They were a rough bunch of humans but that mattered not to her. They were also bandits so they would not be missed but again, she cared little for such details. What mattered to Evelyn was they were human. It was one of her favourite hobbies, hunting humans. Kamui didn't like her doing such a thing so they had come to a compromise; she would only hunt bandits. She was alone now, her brother not having much taste for such a sport, and all the better really. As much as she loved the fact her brother was with her again, it got annoying sometimes when she had grown used to living on her own and doing what she wanted when she wanted.
Touching a hand to the trunk of the tree she was in, she sent out the request to make a wall around the party; that way no one would escape her. Silently the forest obeyed her wish; they didn't have to and sometimes ignored her request but she had done a lot for this particular forest and so they were willing. It was silent to those not attuned to such things but Evelyn could hear them doing so and, once completed she nocked the first arrow to her bow, drew and fired towards what she had guessed what was the leader. It struck him in the head, killing him instantly.
Immediately the bandits drew their arms and looked around for where the shot had come from and Evelyn almost had to laugh; humans never looked up. From that moment on it was a blood bath, she nocked and drew arrows near as soon as the one before was released, each hitting their target with inate precision.
Once there were none left she sent the message to the forest thanking them and allowing them to move back to their natural positions if they wished it.
Climbing down quickly and easily, she searched the bodies for anything useful and took those arrows which were either salvagable or still whole, before heading back to the training area where they now lived, quite happy with her work.
